World ranking

Every career in this table was played in My Football Career by a real player and sent to the world ranking when it ended. None of the numbers are taken on trust: when a career arrives, the server replays it from the first season to the last with its own copy of the game engine, and only accepts it if the score comes out exactly the same.

How a career gets here

• Start online. The server hands out the random seed when you open the game, so nobody can play a thousand careers offline and send only the luckiest one.
• Play it through. Every decision you take is recorded, so the server can play the same career again, choice by choice.
• Send it within six hours of opening the game. At the end of the career, choose a name and send it. The name is public, so don't use your real one if you'd rather not.

The score mixes goals, assists, appearances, trophies, Ballon d'Or wins, World Cups and the peak you actually reached, adjusted by position so a centre-back and a striker are measured with the same stick. The verdict goes from Wasted Talent to Immortal, which about two careers in a thousand reach.
